The wheat germs prepared according to Dr phil. nat. Felix Grandel’s method are carefully selected, laboratory-tested, refined and treated with a gentle fermentation technique, but not roasted. They taste better than raw, unrefined or roasted wheat germs.

As long ago as the 1930’s, the chemist and agronomist Dr Felix Grandel discovered that it was the germ that made the wheat grain so valuable. This was a reason for Dr Grandel to use wheat germs for human nutrition. He developed a gentle fermentation technique that is still used in production today.

The high protein content helps increase and maintain muscles.

Vollgran Weizenkeime are rich in unsaturated fatty acids. The replacement of saturated fatty acids by mono- and/or polyunsaturated fatty acids helps maintain normal levels of cholesterol in the diet.

Vitamins B1, B2, and B6 support a normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system.

Just like the trace elements zinc, manganese and copper, vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Iron and zinc contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.

Vollgran Weizenkeime contain potassium, which helps to maintain a normal blood pressure.

Magnesium contributes to a normal functioning of muscles and the nervous system, a normal energy-yielding metabolism and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.

Verzehrsempfehlung:
Vollgran Weizenkeime are either eaten on its own or added to – but not cooked with - suitable foods. 4 - 5 tablespoons per day are generally used (approx. 50 g). Vollgran Weizenkeime can be used to enrich muesli, fruit salads, cold dishes, yogurt, soured milk, milk-based dishes, raw food, soups and sweet dishes.
